Real-time information

The product Envira DS implements mechanisms to enable it to be integrated with any kind of monitoring networks and can work with data collected in real time and with post-processed data based on them.

It is, therefore, a multilevel warning system that combines levels where the priority is the speed to generate the warning above the complexity of the calculation process and levels where the opposite is true.

Optimization of public handling of information

ENVIRA has public information systems that display the values of pollutants, automatically sent to these systems by means of programs specifically designed by our IT department. These panels can also display information about warnings generated by our systems.

Warning levels

- Warning during the period of integration (real time): The system has little history information and it depends, almost entirely, on the values measured during the period of integration (from seconds to several minutes). This level generates immediate warnings after the event is detected, but the operation rules cannot be very complex, being usually limited to verification of ranges, levels, etc.

- Warnings according the he hourly/daily/weekly medium: the longer the period of integration lasts, the longer the response time, but this extra time allows: a) taking into account longer periods of information; b) executing more complex algorithms (machine learning); and c) complementing the data collected by the monitoring network with other information from external systems.

- Trend warnings: They require a higher number of measurements (and, occasionally, complementary external information), as well as a longer time for processing. They are predictive warnings that alert about anomalous events before they happen (based on a risk analysis).

Interoperability with other systems

Besides, the warning system Envira DS is completely interoperable with warning systems implemented by monitoring networks and equipment, thus generating a multilayer control circuit where the warnings identified by each component of the system re-feed the others. This increases the security and reliability by means of redundancy mechanisms.

That is, the user can receive a first warning from the data acquisition system, so that the warning does not depend on any other communication system except the transmission medium, and can receive, after a few seconds, confirmation from the control center that the warning has been received. This second warning may include additional information added by the control center, information based on data collected and assessed not only at the station generating the warning but at all other remote stations in the network.
