Our URVAMM system is a mobile air quality monitor, designed to be installed in public service vehicles, such as city buses, garbage trucks, personal vehicles and to monitor urban pollutants across the city.
Nanoenvi ® UrVAMM makes it easy to identify the pollution hot spots in cities, so that traffic strategies can be designed and validated to reduce the impact that vehicle emissions have on urban air quality. Nanoenvi® UrVAMM can be connected to efficient driving systems to create a global solution. The system is fully aligned with the new paradigm opened by the smartcity concept complying with secure, private, open and friendly data available for citizens and stakeholders. All our sensors are calibrated at our state-of-the- art calibration laboratory to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurements.
The Nanoenvi® UrVAMM equipment is installed inside a highly-resistant aluminum casing. Its design makes installation easy in any kind of buses, trucks and official vehicles. URVAMM uses the air-conditioning system in the vehicle to collect samples for analysis and is directly fed by the power outlets available.
The Nanoenvi® UrVAMM equipment uses electronics for gas monitoring based on electrochemical technology, capable of obtaining electrical energy from chemical reactions. This device can measure pollutant gases present in cities such as CO, CO2, NO, NO2 and SO2, generated by road traffic and automobile exhaust gases.
URVAMM can be integrated in the IoT networks of the city (Smart City) by means of the usual IoT protocols (3G, LoRa®, 6lowpan, etc.). All URVAMM networks for environmental monitoring are delivered completely integrated (Plug n’ Play) with the Smart City IoT platform chosen by the client.
Nanoenvi® UrVAMM is a portable system for the monitoring and real time of the most important atmospheric pollutants in the urban environment. So far, measurements have been taken in cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Tarragona, Gijón and Oslo, where the air quality sensorization platform on board in service fleets has been successful.
